STEP 1
CLICK HERE and print off the Poetry Vocabulary Worksheet. You will use this worksheet to fill in definitions and write down examples.
STEP 2
CLICK HERE to watch the Language of Literature: Poetry slideshow presentation. When the slideshow opens in a new window, press the Outline button in the Lower Left-Hand Corner and press the Slideshow button in the Lower Right-Hand Corner. Click the mouse button anywhere on the slideshow screen to advance to the next slide. Whenever you see an underlined word, find it on the Poetry Vocabulary Worksheet and write the definition in the box. If you see an example in the presentation, find the example space in some of the literary term boxes and write it down.

Explore the following websites. Additional definitions are provided, so if you don't understand something from the slideshow, hopefully these websites will help you.
