Meet Mrs. Schwartz!

It is very nice to meet you and I am very glad you stopped by my webpage. I am the 4th eMINTS teacher at Dardenne Elementary School and am very honored to be an eMINTS teacher. The other eMINTS teachers in the building are Mrs. Sweeso(3rd grade), Mrs. Ermeling (4th grade), and Mrs. Patton (5th grade). I began my eMINTS training during the 2007-2008 school year.

I began my career at Dardenne in 2000 as Miss Christell. To some students around Dardenne who had brothers and sisters in my classes, I will always be Miss Christell, but in 2003, I married my husband, Curt. We live in St. Charles with our two cats, Orange Juice and Kailey.

On May 16, 2011, our chocolate lab, Elle, was born! We have learned that having a puppy is a lot harder than having cats, but we are loving every minute of it! The pictures below are some of my favorites of Elle. The picture on the right is the first time we met her before we knew she was really ours and before she was "Elle." In the picture she was a little less than 2 pounds and we referred to her as "The Big Girl" becuase her sister was smaller than her. The second picture is my favorite and was taken the day we brought her home at 8.5 pounds. The third picture is just a cute one. She is about 2 months in that picture. The final picture was taken in December 2011. She was 6 months and 60 pounds! She is a big girl!
