Teacher Information

The lesson was written for students to research early European explorers and begin an understanding of the life of the early European explorers who came to America. The lesson will introduce the students to the life of the explorers before they accomplished the task put before them by the various monarchs. The students will understand the reasons the explorers had for exploring and the impacts of their exploration on the various groups of people the encountered.

This lesson is the second in a series of time travel themed webquest for 5th Grade Social Studies.
